One of the product ideas we’ve been kicking around at SocialEngine HQ recently is a mobile chat app. This would let anyone (including those of you who haven’t setup a SocialEngine-powered site yet) create a live messaging mobile app for your site or community. Think something like WhatsApp or GroupMe, but specifically made for your community. You’d be able to customize some aspects of the app’s colors, fonts, logo, and other aspects of its look and feel. We’d help you publish your app to the app store so your members can install it on their mobile devices. You’d be able to design and manage your app from your account here at socialengine.com.
We haven’t made the decision to build this yet – at this stage, we’re really just looking to the SocialEngine community to see how many of you would like to have mobile messaging apps to compliment your communities and social sites. Does it sound interesting to you? Let us know what you think!
