Hello SocialEngine fans! With the help of everyone who participated in our survey and left comments on our blog, we are well under way into the development of version 4.2.8, scheduled for release on 31st October, 2012. The upgrade will be available to download from the client login area at that time. Below is a list of the top improvements chosen by the SE community that will be included in the next release.
Highlights:
- TINYMCE Editor – streamlined across each plugin and added to Forum Topic Quick Reply, Group Discussion Post Topic Create, Group Discussion Post Edit, Group Discussion Post Reply, Event Discussion Post Topic Create, Event Discussion Post Edit, and Event Discussion Post Reply
- Optimized Activity Feed – improved activity feed options in admin panel. Enhanced like/commenting. Additions include “View Last” and “View First” pagination, automatic refresh when a new item is posted, and member names for shared items.
- Bug fixes – include allowing event members to delete posted photos, and group owners to delete member posts.
