We are very happy to welcome Raymond Benc, founder of PHPFox on board as our newest team member! Some of you may be aware that he recently announced his resignation from phpFox. After some discussions around what SocialEngine is doing and how he could add value to the team he has accepted a position on our team as Lead Developer! Raymond comes with expertise in many programming languages and will be a great asset to SocialEngine as he spearheads the PHP development efforts.
Coming out of the gate, Raymond will focus on:
- Modernizing development of SE PHP
- Ensuring PHP 7 Compatibility in SE PHP 4.9
- Working on creating a plan moving forward to bring SE PHP to use latest technologies such as Zend Framework 3, LESS compiling, jQuery and React.js
In the future, Raymond will provide technical and domain expertise in areas of packaging, product delivery and plugin updates, license validation, and much more.
