Hey everyone! Since its release, we’ve received two major feature requests for the Video Plugin:
1. Improved video quality
2. Ability to add YouTube videos in addition to uploading video files.
With the Video Plugin v3.03 update release today, we’ve added both! The great thing about #2 is that the FFMPEG library is no longer required to install the video plugin (although it is required if you want your users to be able to upload video from their computers). Now, if FFMPEG is not available, users can still utilize the YouTube feature.
If you’re interested in uploads but not YouTube videos (or vice versa) you can disable each feature independently in the User Levels->Video Settings section of your admin panel. As always, you can download the new version from our client’s page.
We hope you enjoy the new release!
